The Aam Aadmi Party is constantly gaining strength in Punjab ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Impressed by the development work done under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the last two years, a large number of leaders from the opposition parties joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Chuspinderbir Chahal is a well known leader of the Youth Congress in the Malwa region. He has a good hold and popularity among the people of different areas of Malwa. Him leaving the party is definitely a big blow to the Punjab Congress.

Senior Congress leader from Amritsar Tarsem Singh Sialka also joined AAP. He is a very senior and experienced leader of Congress. He is the Congress constituency in-charge of Attari assembly. He also contested the 2022 assembly elections from Attari on a Congress ticket. He has been the president of the SC Morcha of Congress and The Aam Aadmi Party also gained strength in Jalandhar. Jalandhar BJP District Vice President Pradeep Khullar joined AAP along with his associates including Twinkle Kumar Vice President SC Morcha BJP, Deepak Mehta Mandal General Secretary BJP, Kamaljit Singh and Surjit Singh Bhullar Circle Jathedar Akali Dal Badal. Under his leadership, many district level leaders of Akali Dal also joined the party.was a member of the SC Commission Punjab.
