Resin Art Specialists Mr. Lovedeep Singh and Mrs. Sahiba Nahal were the resource persons for this workshop. Over 33 students from different streams participated enthusiastically in the workshop that endowed them with hands-on training in the techniques and procedures of resin art. On the first day, the resource persons taught the process of filling silicone moulds with resin liquid and creating colourful designs. On the following day, the participants learnt finishing the pieces created on day one with stickers, gold foil, beads and other decorative materials. The participants created beautiful products with resin art like car danglers, pooja thalis, coasters, decorative show pieces and many more.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava lauded this initiative of the Fine Arts Department, in sync with the vision of National Education Policy 2024, to equip students with skills that enhance employability quotient. Emphasising the importance of such endeavours, she asserted that skill development holds the key to a progressive nation.
