Chandigarh, February 5 (Harbans Singh)
In a significant initiative to provide better employment opportunities to the educated youth of the state and to streamline the functioning of ‘Sewa Kendras’—the primary hubs for delivering government services to the public—the Punjab Government has announced a state-level recruitment drive. Mr. Prabhjot Singh, Punjab Project Head of Sewa Kendras, announced that a state-level ‘Job Fair’ will be organized across all Sewa Kendras in Punjab on February 9.
He stated that the recruitment fair for KYC Operators will be held on Monday, February 9, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the main Sewa Kendras located within the District Collector (DC) offices across the state.
Highlighting the government’s commitment, Mr. Singh remarked that the Punjab Government is creating robust avenues for youth employment. He further noted that this is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have completed their Senior Secondary education (Class 12) and possess sound computer proficiency.
Eligible and interested candidates are invited to appear for interviews at the Sewa Kendra situated in their respective district’s DC Complex on February 9, along with their academic and residential identity documents.
