Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today handed over appointment letters to newly recruited candidates across various government departments, marking yet another milestone in his administration’s commitment to transparent, merit-based, and corruption-free job recruitments. The event became a celebration of fairness and opportunity as appointees shared moving testimonials, expressing gratitude for the Mann government’s steadfast efforts in creating a level playing field and eliminating favoritism, recommendations, and bribery.

Gurjeet Singh, Moga: Joining as an Agriculture Development Officer, Gurjeet shared his emotional journey, saying, “I had appeared for several exams before, but missed qualifying by just one or two marks. Today, I’ve finally been appointed as an officer, thanks to the Mann Government’s fair policies. My mother sends her blessings to you, Chief Minister.”

Mohammad Yasir, Para olympian and Asian Games Medalist: Yasir, who has brought glory to India in para-sports, praised the Punjab government for its unprecedented support to athletes like him. “This is the first government that truly backs para-athletes. I’ve received ₹23-24 lakh solely for my training. The equalization of cash prizes for all athletes and the assurance of jobs based on merit without having to stage protests is groundbreaking. I’m deeply thankful for this support.”

Deepika, Sangrur: Deepika expressed her gratitude, particularly for the empowerment of women. “For many women, marriage often limits their ambitions to household responsibilities. But this government’s efforts and corruption-free environment have made fair job appointments possible. I am sincerely thankful to the Punjab government.”

Sandeep Kaur, Patiala, Softball Player: Sandeep expressed her appreciation for the government’s focus on athletes. “This is my sixth government job—a feat possible only under the Mann Government. Athletes like me are now securing jobs in our respective fields. I pledge my full support to the ‘War Against Drugs’ initiative led by the AAP Government against drugs in Punjab.”

Vipanjot, Jalalabad, Agriculture Development Officer: Vipanjot acknowledged the opportunities being created under this government. “Opportunities are being provided to those who work hard. Anyone who is determined and dedicated can succeed. I am proud to receive this government job.”

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reiterated his government’s commitment to youth empowerment and the creation of a corruption-free system. “Our goal is to provide opportunities based solely on merit, ensuring no deserving candidate is left behind due to favoritism or corruption. These young achievers are proof of our dedication to fair governance,” he said. Merit-based government jobs to youth is part of the Mann government’s larger effort to create a “Rangla Punjab,” a prosperous and inclusive state that uplifts every section of society.
