Delhi’s Chief Minister and AAP’s National Convenor, Shri Arvind Kejriwal, spearheaded a vibrant roadshow on Sunday in support of INDIA Alliance and AAP candidates, Shri Somnath Bharti and Shri Mahabal Mishra. Delhites turned out in droves, reaffirming their commitment to ousting the BJP on May 25. The AAP Supremo, buoyed by the overwhelming support, expressed gratitude for the public’s trust, citing his administration’s accomplishments in education, healthcare, and utilities. Warning against potential consequences if BJP regains power, he urged voters to support the ‘jhadu’ (broom) symbol to safeguard the progress made. During this Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann, both the INDIA bloc and AAP candidates, and senior AAP leaders lent their presence.
As soon as he came out of jail, Shri Arvind Kejriwal started campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections with full enthusiasm. On Sunday, he did a road show in Moti Nagar and Uttam Nagar assembly constituencies. A huge crowd of people gathered there to see him. People also showered flowers on him. Shri Arvind Kejriwal, riding in an open car, accepted the greetings of the people by waving his hand. The road was packed with a crowd of people. People were seen welcoming Shri Arvind Kejriwal by showering flowers from the roofs and balconies of their houses.
Members of Delhi RWA were also walking with the AAP convoy showing posters and raising slogans in support of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. A large number of women, children and elderly were seen participating in the road show. Supporters carrying the AAP flag and poster of ‘Jail ka jawaab vote se’ were raising slogans of ’25 May-BJP gayi’. During this, Shri Arvind Kejriwal also joined the supporters and raised slogans with them.
In the road show of Uttam Nagar, Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s supporters also reached with Hanuman ji’s mace. One of them presented that mace to Shri Arvind Kejriwal. During this, the supporters were continuously raising slogans against BJP. On this, Sardar Bhagwant Mann said that there is a lot of anger in you. I give you 15 seconds to vent your anger. After this, he turned the mike around and people raised slogans and vented their anger on BJP. After this, Sardar Bhagwant Mann raised slogans with them, ‘Jail ke taale toot gaye, Kejriwal chhoot gaye’, and ‘Inquilab Zindabad’.
